As thanksgiving day drew near, a class of first-graders were assigned to draw a picture of something to be thankful for. Some drew a house or a car or a turkey or food or toys. But one little boy drew a hand.
Then the class tried to figure out whose hand it was… God’s? The policeman’s? The farmers for growing the food? But no one could guess; and the little boy would not tell.
Then the children all ran outside for recess and the teacher came up to the little boy and asked softly, “Whose hand did you draw?” He said, “Yours!”
Tears came to her eyes as she recalled all the times she had used a hand to guide his pencil, or lead him across the street… for he was lame. A nice story to tell and I hope you like it!

When we talk about new generation? Cellphones won’t be out of the topic. The models are consistently improving and almost all people have this cellphones now. I remember before cellphone exists, pager is the most high-tech medium of communication because you can reach for the people anywhere he is through his pager. Now that cellphone are existing, it’s easier to have communications. We can communicate by texting or calling.
In my community, even a young child has his own cellphone. Today’s generation are luckier than my generation. If only technology existed earlier. Before, I have to go everyday to the library to have my research, now I can do it all on my computer. Researching the whole day in the library has the same result of searching on my browser for thirty minutes. The transportation now is also much better.
