Irvingia and Fiber

The irvingia weight loss is a product derived from the seeds of the irvingia gabonensis, a wild growing tree that produces a mango- like edible fruit. The seeds are also edible and has high fat content that make them good sources of vegetable oil. However, the by-product of oil extraction from the seed material is also rich in dietary fiber. Like all dietary fiber, this promotes weight loss by providing bulk and therefore reduces appetite. Also, fiber like this binds with fat in the food taken and prevents them from being absorbed into the body. This effectively decreases the caloric content of food which translates into lowering the total energy absorbed.
