The over the counter form of Xenical, Alli is a good fat blocker. It prevents the absorption of ingested fat from food into the body. However, fat is mostly oil and digested fat is a liquid, oily substance. Thus, when ingesting oily food like burgers and fries, and the oil is not absorbed, this large amount of oil tends accumulate and lubricate the intestinal tract. This lubrication can sometimes lead to uncontrolled anal leakage and even diarrhea, if enough oil is accumulated. This is what some people have reported as alli side effects.
